The Box Tree Restaurant, Ilkley
Ilkley is a prosperous place and a Michelin starred restaurant seems to fit in naturally. The building itself dates from 1720 when it was a farmhouse but later saw use as an antique shop and a tearoom. It opened as the Box Tree restaurant in 1962 and quickly became one of the best known restaurants in the north of England.
