The building has been around at least since the time of the 1908 OS map, probably always in some kind of industrial use.

The High Street is not a shopping street, as in many towns. This end is seeing some renewal of residential use. This apartment complex appears to be named after one of the directors of the holding company, Adam Rhodes.

The Training Centre, High Street, Morley
High Street is not, as in many towns, a shopping area. A sign on the left side of the building reads "Auty Square", the original entrance to which has been bricked up. The entrance to the square, which now consists of modern housing replacing the original back-to-backs, is now from St Paul's Street to the north.
