High Street car park, Morley
At the northern end of High Street, this free car park (a rarity these days!) is on land vacated by the demolition of what were probably back-to-back houses.

New Pavilion Cinema - Fountain Street
Built in 1911 this is now a restaurant.

Former New Pavilion Cinema, Morley
No doubt this was resplendent when it opened as a cinema in 1911. The building was at one time used as a restaurant Image but is now disused and starting to look derelict.

Shops, South Queen Street, Morley
The shopping area of the town centre generally stops at Fountain Street (foreground) but a few continue up the other side on this road. The building on the corner, now a Pizza Hut takeaway, has a pediment with ornate carving but no date that I can see. The Leeds to Manchester railway runs in tunnel directly beneath this building but at considerable depth.
