One Stop Centre
The foundation stone was laid in 1895, and the Rothwell District Council offices officially opened 8th June 1896. Now a One Stop Centre administered by Leeds City Council.

No 2, Marsh Street
This grade II listed house dates back to the 18th century. Constructed of sandstone ashlar blocks with rusticated quoining and a slate roof. Note the windows are set in raised surrounds with keystones.

Joseph Priestley College, Marsh Street
A further education college formed in 1955 and based across sites in Beeston, Morley and Rothwell, South Leeds. The college is named after Joseph Priestley, who was born in Leeds in 1733. He discovered oxygen and its role in combustion and in respiration.
