Renshaw Woods
The battlefield trail from Towton passes along a very well kept path past the woodland.

Interpretation panel no. 8, Towton Battlefield Trail
The trail is a wide permissive path, with signposts and interpretation panels. Part of the site of the bloody Battle of Towton, 29th March 1461. 28,000 people died.

Passage through Fencing
At first this appears to be a safe route through the fence for sheep or badgers, but on closer inspection it seems to be for dogs with an obvious foot trail the other side created by owners and dogs though Renshaw Woods.

Trail by Renshaw Woods
Heading south on the battlefield trail with poo bags to hand if needed for our dogs on the walk. Pity the council didn't provide bins on the trail as well as the warning signs.
