Election poster, Dobson Avenue, Hunslet
Whatever your own politics, Mr Carlisle the Green candidate in a local election seemed to have his name everywhere. Dobson Avenue is one of several streets of terraced housing off Burton Avenue, presumably named after Richard Dobson whose maltings was the main industrial site in the locality.

Dewsbury Road post office and Premier stores
Apart from the signage above the shop and the name of the hair salon next door, not much has changed since my 2016 view Image But pavement parking as seen here has become a much more common practice in recent years; it is legal in most of England but that is currently under review.

Houses in the grounds of Burton House
These two rows of four houses or maybe flats were built (in the late 1980s according to the South Leeds Life blog, though the style looks more 1950s to me) in the grounds of a former 18th century mansion Image They are named Cockburn Close, after the former Cockburn High School nearby.
