Tower Works - Leeds
A former pin factory listed grade II*. The largest and most ornate tower was built in 1900 as a dust extraction shaft and is based on the iconic Giotto campanile (bell tower) in Florence. http://www.tower-works.com/history

Tower Works engine house
This formed part of the 1899 extension of the works, and was designed by William Bakewell, also responsible for the layout of City Square in 1902. The interior is more elaborate than the exterior, as is typical of engine houses. Listed Grade II.

Tower Works development by the canal
The brick=clad building in one of several apartment blocks being squeezed between remaining historic buildings on the site of the former Globe ironworks. Image shows a similar view before redevelopment, and the old mill building to the right.
