Signage on the A61 in Hunslet
As well as the usual direction signs, there is a windsock symbol indicating risk of strong cross winds as the road crosses the River Aire on a viaduct a short way ahead.

Jack Lane link path
Jack Lane was once a continuous road nearly 2km long linking Holbeck and Hunslet. It has been cut off in various places by construction of the M621 and A61 trunk roads, and at this point is merely a path connecting the remaining part of Jack Lane with a newer road called The Oval.

Junction of Jack Lane and Elmtree Lane
Jack Lane was once a continuous road nearly 2km long linking Holbeck and Hunslet. It has been cut off in various places by construction of the M621 and A61 trunk roads, and this section east of the A61 has become part of a modern housing estate.
