Former Yorkshire Copper works
See also Image Allegedly the largest manufacturing site in Leeds at 120 acres and employing 5,000 people at its peak, Yorkshire Copper became Yorkshire Imperial Metals (part of ICI) in 1958, and after further reorganisations and renamings finally closed as a metals factory in 1998.
