Weathered piece of sandstone on a roadside bank in Salmonby
This piece of what looks like a piece of the local Spilsby sandstone, which is particularly soft. A manor house built locally of this stone was demolished because it was crumbling away.

Holbeck Manor, to Salmonby and Tetford: aerial 2014
Beyond Tetford is the escarpment of the Lincolnshire Wolds - note the chalk quarry on Tetford Hill.
Weather-wise, a high pressure system is in charge, with foggy mornings. The line of clouds along the coast is the remnants of the morning's fog, and also a precursor of more fog to come.
