Hopton Street, Horncastle
Looking at Where's the Map, you would think this is Cagthorpe, but it's not. Not an easy way to drive in and out of. The car is about to drive onto the A153 South Street.
There is a pile of seasoning timber to the left, which probably belongs to the furniture restorers to my right (out of view).

Fish & chips al fresco. I don't suppose the chippie has often seen a recovery vehicle used as a dining table. The three diners were happy for me to take a photograph.

Waring Street, Horncastle
A quiet cul-de-sac with old cottages and much newer housing. At the far end is access, on foot, to the town centre. It means having to cross the busy A158, but there is a pelican crossing provided.
