30 West Street Horncastle
Early 19th century Grade II Listed house. Edward Harrison (1759-1838) used the house as a private asylum. The plaque installed in 2008 reads 'The home and private practice of EDWARD HARRISON MD, the founder of the HORNCASTLE DISPENSARY in 1789. Medical reformer and pioneer in curing spinal disorders'. Documents from 1973 refer to the house being used as 'the business of the Design and Manufacture of Light Shades and Fittings'

The Crown Inn, West Street, Horncastle
There used to be many pubs in Horncastle because one of Europe's largest horse fairs used to be held in the town.
