Looking from outside The Bull Hotel to the King's Head public house. The 16th-Century Bull Hotel is one of the oldest in Horncastle and it is said that Oliver Cromwell rested there.

The Bull Hotel, Bull Ring, Horncastle
The grade II Listing (1966, amended 1987) names this as 'The Bull Hotel with integral shop Inspirations and the autoshop to right with Assembly Room above'. 16th century in origin the west front here is of around 1800. The Hotel's website states that it was a resting place for Oliver Cromwell in 1643.
