Old Nick's Tavern, North Street, Horncastle
"The best place for music in Horncastle has to be Old Nick's Tavern on Sundays and Wednesdays. The music varies from folk one night, to rock or indie on another, it's a great night and I'd recommend it to any one," said a customer. The pub is now shut down and boarded up.

Banks Street, Horncastle
An old warehouse that probably stored, or shipped goods to and from boats on the River Waring, which is just metres away. Goods may have included food, grain, drink, hide or cloth. There are plenty of pubs and farms and there used to be tanners, drapers, glovers and a large cattle market. There was also a slaughter house. The gable end has several tie bars, four of which make up the numerals 1890. The crane jib aided the use of two floors.
