Lincoln Courts, University of Lincoln
Taken from the very end of the "student village", just before it transitions into nature. Despite the architectural strengths of this development, which received wide praise upon completion, the waterside aspects are underwhelming. Beside the earlier yellow brick blocks, in particular, is an unmade dirt track.

Retrieving a sunken boat from the Foss Dyke
Campus Way (on the far bank) and Foss Bank are roads close to where I used to live as a child on Carr Street, which was demolished long ago. However there is still a Carr Street nearby, with new houses. All that area was once rows of terraced houses. The buildings in the picture have replaced railway lines.

Sports Bridge, University of Lincoln
A pedestrian footbridge connecting the University Sport Centre to Lincoln Courts, crossing the railway. Access at this end is by stairs or elevator (currently out of order), and a long ramp at the other end.
