St Marks Shopping Centre
A path is available along the pavement between piles of compacted snow, but anyone stepping off the cleared area is risking a tumble. The signal box is not genuine but is here as a reminder of St Marks station, closed in 1985.

Baron of the Crystal Hues
Lincoln Barons' Charter Trail sculpture in St.Mark's Square, painted by Lesley Ann Withers drawing inspiration from Lincoln Cathedral stained glass and paying tribute to 166 Squadron, representing Saer de Quincy http://www.lincolnbarons.com/the-barons/baron-of-the-crystal-hues/ Saer de Quincy was Earl of Winchester. He fought against the king after the king rejected Magna Carta. De Quincey went to France to invite the French king to take the English throne. After Henry III won the war with the barons, de Quincey went on crusade in 1219, where he died.
