Railway bridge, Quarry Lane
Leadenham has long been a source of limestone for building but the coming of the railway brought cheaper brick into the village. Here the bridge over the former railway appears to be substantially of brick with a stone covering.

The former station, Leadenham
The stations on the Grantham to Lincoln line were opened in 1867 and all apart from Leadenham closed in 1962. Leadenham itself lasted until October 1965.

Leadenham railway station (site), Lincolnshire
Opened in 1867 by the Great Northern Railway on the line from Honington to Lincoln, this station closed to passengers in 1965.
Forecourt, from the road. As with other former stations on the line, it is now a private residence.
