Former post office
The red brick building opposite the pub in the High Street was once the post office. It is a building of some interest, it looks to me like a 19th century rebuild of something far older. The stone wall was once a boundary, I reckon, because there is a bricked-up arch in the post office that would have once led through the building alongside it. That makes the two windows in the stone section very modern. This village loves noticeboards. Look how many there are on that building, and there are plenty of others about.

Providence Place
The bricked-up arch in Image is surmounted by this carved stone which reads "Providence Place". That suggests to me that the arch was a passageway, and leads me to wonder whether some non-conformist place of worship was behind this building once.
