Slope for sliding on
In this part of Lincolnshire, slopes for tobogganing on are few and far between, unless one wants to end up in a dyke! This mound has been created in open space in a small estate to the west of the village. It might even have been specifically intended for the purpose, although the presence of snow cannot be guaranteed.

Castle Cottages, Sleaford Road
Rather hidden behind the tree, this pair of cottages, dating from the 18th century, were formerly a single farmhouse. Listed grade II. The tower of Tattershall Castle rears itself in the background.

Derelict stables, Tattershall Castle
The stables were originally a lodging block. At the far end of the wooden bridge over the outer moat is a bar saying, 'No Entry'. The marshy almost dry moat has remains of last season's great reed mace. Viewed from castle's roof.
