Town Bridge, South Kyme
The bridge carries the roadway over the navigable Kyme Eau waterway. I've no idea of the age of the bridge, but it was restored in 1989. At the junction of High Street sits The Hume, formerly The Hume Arms, which was built as a Public House in the late 19th Century. After lengthy periods of closure in the past two decades, it remained closed for three years until April 2006. The bare shell of a building was turned into a bar restaurant resulting not only in a quality eating place, but also a social venue for the village and the local area. Lincolnshire Enterprise contributed £24,928 towards the cost.
