20 years ago the main bus services within the City were being provided by Lincoln City Transport, still owned at that time, as an arms-length company, by the City Council. The company was eventually bought out by Stagecoach, but service 5 to the St Giles area still operates much as when this picture was taken in 1987. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=2114547&displayclass=slide
