Take Your Machete
This must be one of the least inviting public 'footpaths' in Lincolnshire. It is overgrown with tall stinging nettles, brambles and ivy. I came out with several stings on my arms and my trousers full of thorns. Then I realised I could have taken the public road instead. Doh! (P.S. Alan Longbottom suggests that Hackthorn is an aptly named location for this particular footpath!)
