Three grade II listed houses, officially 38, 39 & 40 Bailgate, but known as 'The three little tenements' (Survey of Ancient Houses in Lincoln IV, 1996), mostly 17th and 18th century, but incorporating the remnants of a 13th century building.

Ye Olde Barley Mow
Mid-18th century, grade II listed house at 37 Bailgate. It was the Pleasant Inn in 1823, The Barley Mow in 1900 and Sid Wheeler's fish & chip shop in the 1960s, now a house with an interesting history
