Trenton Motel in 1967
My parents and I stayed here overnight, during a journey from Peebles in Scotland to relatives in Suffolk. We had arrived the previous evening at 20:10 having travelled 266 miles in my father's Rover 100 and, as the motel had not been able to provide an evening meal, we had gone to a nearby hotel. Breakfast was provided the following morning by the motel but it took 20 minutes for (a few slices of) toast to be provided and mine arrived already buttered! I have not been able to find the Trenton Motel on the Internet, so the name must have been changed, as such an establishment is marked on the map.
