The cattle market behind the camera is looking rather run down, almost as if they wanted to demolish it and sell the site in order to make way for a supermarket!

Old pubs at the Newmarket junction
Newmarket left, South Street right, and London Road ahead.
Former pub, The Travellers, is now a guest house.
The old building on the left has a bricked up cellar entrance, suggesting another pub. Note the rounded brick wall and "cutaway" on the corner.
