Houses on Newmarket, Louth
This row of terraced houses was built by Louth Borough Council in the late 1930s as part of the Tennyson Road Estate. Tennyson Road runs perpendicular to the left of this terrace of four houses. The right hand house was originally 1 Tennyson Road, but its address is now Newmarket.

Hot property: development opportunity in Newmarket
All eyes are on this site, which used to be the home of a car sales room, demolished a few years ago. While Louth debates whether it needs a new supermarket, and where it would put it, Sainsbury's have had their Planning Application for this site turned down and have appealed to the government's Planning Inspectorate to get the decision overturned. Meanwhile for the kids it's a skate park, and they'd like to keep it that way.

The Brown Cow: "Boozie Bluesie Barbecue", Louth Zero Degrees Festival
Top blues band The Legendary Night Owls. A brilliant afternoon until rain eventually stopped play. But "Zero Degrees" refers not to the temperature but to the fact that Louth lies on the Greenwich Meridian. The pub went by another name until quite recently, when it reverted to its original name, The Brown Cow.
