The old telephone box in Covenham
Now sealed up with the phone removed. As elsewhere the red phone kiosk has become a nostalgic reminder of earlier times.

There have been some changes made on this section of the road. Whilst the house next door has been knocked down (see: Image), this one has been rescued and the property smartened up.

Feature brickwork - the old and the new
See also Image Flemish bond (alternate headers and stretchers). This pattern, with light-coloured headers and darker stretchers, is common on cottages in this area of Lincolnshire. It is obviously appreciated since the new house has been built in a similar style - even the chimney pots are close copies.

Main road through Covenham St.Bartholomew (1)
There have been some changes made on this section of the road. The house that bordered the road has been knocked down and the footprint moved back - you can just see the new foundations.
