Woodhall Spa Conservative Club
Although it occupies a prominent position on Spa Road this rather drab building is not really in keeping with the centre of Woodhall Spa. Nevertheless, it appears to be maintained in a tidy condition. Politically-affiliated clubs like this one can be found in many towns and cities and are usually required to make party donations. The sign in the foreground, despite its colour, is not associated with the club.

Station Road, Woodhall Spa
The Station Road name is one of the few reminders that a railway once passed through Woodhall Spa, with a level crossing in the centre of the town. Passenger services were withdrawn in 1954. Here the library stands adjacent to Zucci, a Mediterranean bistro.

The Broadway, Woodhall Spa
Woodhall Spa's parish council makes its presence felt in the centre of this most untypical Lincolnshire town. At one time a railway crossed The Broadway at this location by means of a skewed level crossing; the site of Woodhall Spa station, which closed to passengers in 1954, is behind the photographer. Freight trains continued to run until 1971.
