The northern entrance to the Glanbia Cheese Factory, Glanhwfa Road
Glanbia Cheese, in a joint venture with the US company Leprino Foods, manufactures chilled and quick frozen mozzarella cheese and pizza cheese for the European market. Together, the two British plants at Llangefni, Anglesey and Magheralin, Co Down are Europe's largest producers of mozzarella cheese. Glanbia also has an administrative centre in Northwich, Cheshire.
