The Harbour Hotel, Cemaes
As the name suggests, this hotel overlooks the harbour from its position across the bridge from the centre of the village. It has a popular bar and restaurant area.

In the early medieval period, when Cemaes was the site of a royal palace belonging to the House of Gwynedd, the settlement was known as Porth Wygyr.

Tramway path, Cemaes
Between 1907 and 1914 a 2-foot gauge tramway passed through this arch linking Cemaes harbour with Cemaes Bay brickworks. The plaque states that the path was dedicated by Mr C. W. Grove-White of Brynddu, Llanfechell. The enhancement scheme was carried out by the Isle of Anglesey Borough Council in 1976.
