Eglwys Edern Sant
St Edern founded a religious cell in the district in the 6thC. A church has stood on this particular site since at least the Middle Ages. The present church is a renovation of a more ancient building and dates from 1871. The living used to be in the hands of Jesus College, Oxford's Welsh college and the vicars until the early 20thC were graduates of that college.
