Approaching the Valley crossroads
These crossroads were the first location in Anglesey to have traffic lights. Fifty years ago such lights were regarded in the countryside as a great novelty.

One brave man and a hundred high spirited women at Valley Crossroads
This open top bus with its flag waving horde of - to quote the Calvita cheese ad. - "fit, trim and brimful of energy" female passengers appears to be a part of a publicity campaign for Slimming World. I must say, it is a long time since I was cheerfully greeted by so many women at the same time.
