You are now entering Pontrhydybont aka Four Mile Bridge
Four Mile Bridge is very easily explained. The bridge which gives the village its English name is at the 4th milestone from Holyhead. Pontrhydybont is a little more complex as it contains an example of tautology. It translates as "bridge of the ford of the bridge".
