Pont Aberffraw Bridge
A view of the old Aberffraw Bridge, which used to carry the main road over the Afon Ffraw. It was built in 1731 by Sir Arthur Owen and may be on the site of an earlier bridge or ford. The bridge is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and is in the care of CADW.

Old Bridge, Aberffraw
The old bridge over the Afon Ffraw at Aberffraw. Now only open to foot traffic. Close by Aberffraw is a large area of estuarine sand dunes which formed as sand was deposited in the estuary of the Afon Ffraw and stabilised by plants like seaspurge and marram grass. This is now a nature reserve.
