Cemetery at Aberffraw
A new area of burial ground has been developed - aerial photographs show the original graveyard beyond the pale wall to be all but full. The village church, St Beuno's, lies beyond that earlier graveyard.

St Beuno's Church in Aberffraw
A church was established in Aberffraw in the 7th century by St Beuno, who became the abbot of Clynnog Fawr, Gwynedd. However, the current church dates from the 12th century.

St Beuno's Church, Aberffraw
St Beuno's Church is set within a large churchyard in the south-west of the village, on the south side of Church Street.The first church community was established in Aberffraw in the 7th century by St Beuno. No part of a structure from that period survives; the oldest parts of the present building are the south wall of the nave and some parts of the west wall, which are from the 12th century.
