Below the walls of Pen-y-marian
The Anglesey Coastal Path continues between the mighty walls of Pen-y-marian and the manicured privet hedge of Gwel yr Ynys. The tower house give the place a somewhat continental atmosphere.

An almost hidden continuation of the Anglesey Coastal Path
The public road suddenly becomes the drive of 'Gwel yr Ynys' (island view). Puzzled walkers come to a stop, less than 10 metres from a guide post which assured them that they were on the right road, until suddenly they notice the little yellow arrow pointing to a narrow gap. Salvation is at hand.

A minor road junction at Tan'rallt
Here the road from Mariandyrys joins the Penmon-Llangoed road. The bus service operated by Arriva only comes down the hill - on its way from Penmon to Llangoed. It then goes up to Glan'rafon before returning to Llangoed and continuing on to Bangor.
