The second war memorial plaque at the gate of Eglwys y Santes Fair, Tregarth
This second plaque on the right hand pillar of the church gate bears a continuation of the alphabetical list of the fallen of 1914-18 (from O-W) as well as the names of those who fell in the 1939-45 War. The wording at the bottom, a continuation from the first plaque, is "Mewn Angof Ni Chant Fod" which means "Forgotten They Shall Not Be" Image

"In Loving Memory of Our Heroes of Two World Wars" - plaque at the church gate, Tregarth
This slate memorial, fixed to the left hand side pillar of the St Mary's Church gate, lists alphabetically (B-O) the fallen of 1914-1918. The list continues on the right hand plaque (O-W), which also contains the names of the fallen of the Second World War which, mercifully, were fewer. Image
