The old Garth Road British School
This school was built in 1848. Plaques on the front of the building state that the land was donated by Hon.Col.E.G Douglas Pennant of Penrhyn Castle and that the school was erected to educate "five hundred children".

Grade II listed former Garth Road Primary School, Bangor
Now in use as flats. A stone inscription on the facade shows BANGOR BRITISH SCHOOL FOR FIVE HUNDRED CHILDREN ERECTED 1848. Grade II listed in February 1988.
