Llanberis Fire Station
Part of North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, located in Maes Padarn.
The first fire station in Llanberis was in Caenant Street. The station later relocated to a site at the rear of the High Street. Maes Padarn is the third location for the station. Before the 1996 amalagamation, Llanberis was part of Caernarfonshire Fire Brigade then Gwynedd Fire Brigade.

Gorsaf D?n Llanberis Fire Station
The station, which is manned by retained firemen, is at present undergoing structural modifications. This is why the engine is parked in the yard.

The French Market at the Community Centre
This is a travelling market which annually visits towns and villages in Wales merchandising French products. The Community Centre occupies the site of the old main line railway station. The photo was taken at 9.30 a.m. before the crowds arrived.

The Church of St Padarn in Llanberis
The Church of St Padarn was built in 1885 in response to the growing population caused by the expansion of industry. She was extended in 1912 (including the Lady Chapel). This large church (300+) is a grade 2 listed building.
