The A499 and the new bypass from the slopes of Gyrn Goch
The bypass begins at Aberdesach (middleground - just beyond the cloud shadow) and will run seawards of the present road past the village of Clynnog Fawr (foreground - left) with its magnificent 16thC church. It will join the present road at Gyrn Goch before leaving it again in SH3947. It will provide a relief for both drivers and residents in this area. The old road will be used for recreational activity - esp. walking and cycling.

A Great Wee House
This must be one of the smallest residences in Wales. The house on the right - Yr Iard - was where coal landed from ships run ashore at high tide used to be stored, and probably this building, converted into a holiday home, was associated with the coal yard.
