Abersoch Watersports, Lon Engan
This store at the head of Pont Engan is very busy in the holiday season as Abersoch is a mecca for water sports enthusiasts. The board outside the shop is another reminder of the widespread opposition to the Plaid Cymru dominated Gwynedd Council's plan to close many rural schools.

Capel Aber-soch, Capel yr Annibynwyr
This chapel in Lon Engan bears a number of dates, suggesting a process of building an extension upon the extension. The main chapel is dated 1873, the vestry (ysgoldy) 1906 and the front porch 1922.
