Eglwys Beuno Sant Deneio Pwllheli
All that remains of the original parish church of Pwllheli, half a mile to the north of the present town. The church was very small and in the nineteenth century was superseded by the church of St Peter in the centre of the town. All religious services were transferred to the new church, only the churchyard continuing in use for burials. The church, later reduced to walls below window level and filled in, is still surrounded by its churchyard. The council cemetery lies beyond the church, the cemetery chapel roof just visible in the background. St Beuno remains the patron saint of the town.
