Modern bungalows on the eastern side of Efailnewydd
At one time, only the Farmer's Arms stood on the east side of the Pwllheli-Nefyn road, but in the fourth quarter of the 20thC Efailnewydd became increasingly a dormitory village for people working in Pwllheli. The number of dwellings in the village more than doubled in the space of 25 years.
