Custom House
Sporting a nice new coat of paint.
**This building housed the Custom Officials in the days of the slate trade, from the first floor windows they could see the sailing ships being pulled into harbour by the steam tugs. Now obscured by the houses on the slate quay.

Linda heads the 13.35 train for Rhyd-Ddu
Built 1893 by the Hunslet Engine Co. Originally an 0-4-0ST running on the Penrhyn Quarry Railway, purchased by the Ffestiniog Railway in 1962. Named after Linda Blanche Douglas-Pennant.
Now running today as a double header to the Fairlies Patent, Earl of Merioneth, on the Welsh Highland Railway.
Earl of Merioneth, the first Double Fairlie built in 1979 by the restored Ffestiniog Railway, and the only one of its kind to deviate from the classic design with the cuboid side tanks. Converted to coal firing in 2006
