The Arousal Café was originally the Carousal Café, but the letter C was stolen so many times, the owner eventually stopped replacing it.

St John's Church, Barmouth
Completed in 1895, the large Anglican church was constructed to accommodate the increasing number of tourists visiting the town in the late 19th century. The details of the church are often lost in the shade of the hills above but are caught nicely here in the afternoon sunshine, viewed from the railway station.
