New stable near Pen-y-wern
There is a new house in the trees and this new stable and the electrified tape along the fence says horses but none were in sight. Neither house or stable is on any of the maps.

Well hidden farm buildings
The farm buildings at Pen-y-wern are in a natural hollow and there are plenty of high hedges and trees all around, this helps protect the steading from the vicious winds that must blow in here when there is a westerly storm.

Shearing time has arrived
Wool sack for the best wool, small bags for the daggings, generator for the electric clippers, the only thing missing is sheep and shearers, they must have been here as soon as the sun came up!

New-born lambs relax in the sun while their mothers stand guard, on fields above the Broad Water and its marshes, which can be seen beyond. Tywyn can be seen in the distance.
