Waiting to cross
Waiting for a late running Pwllheli bound train to come off the single line at Tywyn. The total delay was some 20 minutes. Not unusual on this line, usually caused by 'knock on' delays on the 'main line' from Machynlleth to Birmingham.

Looking from Neptune Road bridge towards Tywyn station. This is the only passing loop on the single line between Dovey Junction and Barmouth. From this perspective the platform lights at the station seem somewhat out of scale.
