A distinctly autumnal view of the valley near to Rowen. The unusual gateposts of the farm road are capped with cement and dressed with small lumps of white vein-quartz.

Amanita muscaria
Commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita, it associates with various deciduous and coniferous trees and these were found on a nature trail through such woodland.
Although it is generally considered poisonous, reports of human deaths resulting from eating the mushroom are extremely rare. After parboiling — which removes the mushroom's psychoactive substances—it is eaten in parts of Europe, Asia, and North America. (This paragraph is an extract from Wikipedia.)
