J.E. Jones signage
Ornate awnings signage in Deganwy. A formers grocers shop and at one time the Post Office. I believe Mr Jones was at one time Mayor of Conwy. Image] The canopy with ‘J. E. Jones’ signage was manufactured by James Allan & Co. Ltd at the Elmbank Foundry in Glasgow (Ref:www.scottishironwork.org ).

Deganwy Dental Practice
Prior to that NatWest Bank and previously the National Provincial Bank. Gone are the days when there was a bank on the doorstep. Especially when this was an area of the wealthy who lived nearby.

Deganwy Railway Station
Deganwy Railway Station is built on a sea wall between the Conwy Estuary and the main village road. Until the mid 1990's there was a station-master's house on the platform, but it was demolished due to structural failure. In the photograph, track is being relaid on a new base of ballast from Penmaenmawr Quarry Image
