Riverside Court
These blocks of flats were developed in the early 1960s, and were the first phase of redevelopment on the grounds of the West Shore Bathing Pool (Deganwy Lido). This southernmost area was not part of the pool complex, but largely undeveloped and labelled on contemporary maps as 'Miniature Golf Course'. The block to the right-rear is Marine Court.

Deganwy Beach Estate 2
The Deganwy Beach Estate was developed on the site of the former West Shore Bathing Pool, or colloquially Deganwy Lido, which was open between 1934 and the early 1960s. The striking, angular architecture led to it being known locally as 'Legoland', but it appears to be modelled upon contemporary developments in mediterranean resorts. This view shows the southern boundary of the estate and also the lawns of the first plot of the former site to be developed.

Castellanus sunset
Beautiful cloud formations over Anglesey, presaging an approaching frontal system. Castellanus is no longer an accepted cloud type, but who cares? The lights of the promenade appear in the foreground.
